In July/August 2010 we visited Lake Como and some of the areas around it for the first time. It is an amazing region, definitely one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! Please note that the photos here are not really only from Lake Como or even only from Italy but they were taken during our week-long holiday there, so I left them together.
